To meet the increasing specialization in customer relationship management (CRM) and infrastructure resource management (IRM), GoldMine Software Corporation has formed CRM and IRM divisions. Each division is responsible for developing and executing strategic product development, marketing, sales, and customer service plans. The CRM Division, providing integrated front-office solutions for small to midsize businesses, will support the GoldMine 5.0 sales and marketing automation solution and GoldMine FrontOffice 2000. Larry Twersky is the new president of the division, headquartered in Pacific Palisades, California. The IRM Division will provide integrated solutions that let businesses proactively manage assets throughout their life cycle, from procurement to help-desk support to retirement. The division will support HEAT 5.0 help desk software and HEAT InfraSolution. Edwin Gear is the new president of the IRM Division, headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. "The new organizational structure will focus our leadership and resources on creating specific solutions that address these two fast-growing markets," says Dana Buys, GoldMine Software chairman. "We expect to better service the existing customer base while increasing our speed of execution and, thus, reduce our time to market."
