Disabling Visual Studio 2012's All-Caps Feature

Disabling Visual Studio 2012's All-Caps Feature

If you find Visual Studio 2012's all-capital-letter menus annoying, you can turn them off by following these steps:

1.     Open regedit.

2.     Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\General.

3.     Create a DWORD value named SuppressUppercaseConversion.

4.     Set the new DWORD with a value of 1.

After this change, the labels for the menu items will consist of uppercase and lowercase letters.
